Exorcism-The Millennium Dome
Taken from an exorcists chronicles
A Book in preparation
Right from the beginning Britain's premier tourist project was doomed by problems, delays and just bad luck,
It was seen by the public as a total waste, and was soon nicknamed, "Tony's Dome"
Because of it's association with Tony Blair and New Labour.
This was to be London's celebration in the year 2000 and to welcome the new millennium, but several workers were killed, and injured in the construction, in which the design failures had to be continually altered, costs escalated to an outrageous degree, opening was cancelled again and again, and workers contractors and politicians saw it as a poison chalice, because no respectable person would touch it, eventually a manager had to be brought in from France, and he could not even speak English.
In fact, due to huge financial embezzlement, by all but particularly the politicians involved, the project seemed doomed to collapse, and 4 days after the election the government awarded itself extremely large pay-rises.
On Millennium opening night Archbishop Dr. George Carey was abused by drunks, and the Archbishop of York claimed it represented Human pride, more than Christianity.
Which is interesting because Tony Blair is a believer in the new Jerusalem theory, which simply put, is that peace cannot come to all nations until the new temple be built.
The mystic and poet William Blake claimed England was the New Jerusalem, and Christ would then be able to come again for the "second coming".
The dome was in effect believed to be the dome of the new temple heralding in this new millennia.
Strangely the American Christian evangelists and the Jews of Israel, unusual bedfellows, seem to be in agreement here,
Incidentally that biblical passage from the book of Revelations has several other interpretations very different from this one.
However, contractors were soon demanding money up front, and there was talk of a "Jinx"
A couple of the down market newspaper tabloids ran an article, and picture of a red Indian chief brought in to "well-wish" and "bless" the Dome's future, but the truth was deliberately suppressed.
The idea was to copy Queen Victoria's "great Exhibition" of 1851
And the 1951 Festival of Britain, both financial, and spiritual successes
The Dome site itself ran through the Greenwich Meridian line, and any type of line marker particularly Ley lines can be problematic, particularly as the ground was known to be soured.
The red Indian medicine man summed it up well when he said;
" it would be the last place to ever hold this event"
The local Churches were not keen to be seen connected to the site, or give any form of religious service, as two of the main benefactors were Hindu millionaires with links to New labour, who were in turn seen to be a dubious political party, mainly made up from unwholesome self seeking ex-Marxist fringe socialist political types.
The bottom line was that they needed the site exorcised and fast, I had one of the senior site managers drive over, and offered a large sum for my help.
I was getting a name for help in these situations, but was not convinced I could achieve spirit clearance on a scale like this, and it did not inspire confidence to learn I could not talk to any workers about my real purpose there, and to hear the Church of England big-wigs would not return any managers urgent phone calls
The focus of a thick energy vortex made me dowse an old map, and it was believed to be the site of an old plague pit, where at the time of the great plague bodies were cast into a quickly dug hole or pit, with no religious rites, some souls are still angry over this, and may have made things difficult on site.
This type of disturbance is often unpredictable and never easy to dampen down
The omens were not good for me to handle this, or even if it would work, and the manager was insistent, that help was needed, but it would not come from me, these things attract a lit of publicity and this meant newspaper men hiding outside your house, crank phone calls and threats, and all sorts of strange messages from all over the country, begging letters, rantings from religious fundamentalist extremists, I had had a taste of this and it frightened me.
It resulted in anonymous people photographing my children from passing cars, and school bullying, accusations of devil worship, and constant comments about dancing around bonfires at full moon etc, and being pestered with hate mail by religious cranks.
I have always been rather shy and did not take kindly to people recognising, and pointing me out in the street.
Someone in Scotland kept sending me bibles through the post, which actually, were really appreciated at the local old folks home.
Luckily, I had a call at the same time from a well known medium about a motorcar, in which the mans dead mother could at times be clearly seen in the passenger seat, and used this prior engagement to back away.
I had a real feeling of relief over this.
Hence the red Indian, who incidentally in his native costume was far more photogenic than I was, and who I am sure did an excellent job.
