SUMMARY:
This small but very active home was probably one of the most active places we had been. I loved it and wish we would have filmed a special all night stay here. God knows we would have had amazing things happen. I mostly searched for evps and took rolls of film. While I only got a couple good pics, not much to see except the form on the top of the stairs and the chandelier swaying. Plenty of EVPs but I wish I would have setup some cameras in different rooms and tried a few more experiments to establish contact. The problem is we only had 2 hours in this place for our investigation and if we had more I am sure we would have gotten plenty more to talk about as active as it was. One of the top most haunted places I have visited.
CONTACT:
No Jim Morrison here, but one heck of a place filled with Paranormal activity. I felt many different forms of energy. Place memory, spiritual energy in various genders, male, female, child. In the child’s room I had my hand swiped while holding the tape player and knocked it out of my hand. I was startled and jumped up. On tape I got an evp saying either "eww its dark" or "duck." Reviewing the film you can see a large puffy white orb fly right through my chest towards the camera as I start talking to the camera on what just happened. I felt this might have been one of the child ghosts playing.
I noticed some fingerprints in the Childs room on the ledge that seemed to show prints of a child as if she was lifting herself up on her tip toes to see over the ledge and what remained were her prints in the dust.
I felt some disturbed and confused energy as well as saw some red lights appear on the floor in a room across the hall, I yelled at the camera man to hurry up to film it but by the time he got the camera it was gone. Gail had earlier that she had seen some tinkle bell lights on a wall and fly across the room. It scared her enough to leave the house and wait outside. This was caught on video but the director believed it might have been a reflection off of Gail’s earrings. I beg to differ and would have to review the tape further before I come to my own conclusion. AS the footage I saw while in the house looked promising to me and similar to forms I have seen before. The chandelier was swaying back and forth and I got photos of that. When I went outside to the use the odd house I felt like I was watched all the way there and back. Not a comfortable feeling. Was as if we were not supposed to be here.
Face caught with flashlight on the video was later determined to be the tour guide, why no one caught that in edit I don’t know. Ghosts normally don’t show solid form and if a flashlight was cast on it, I personally believe, it would have gone through it not bounced off and displayed a shadow. So this part can be debunked as just the tour guide you see seconds later peeking up the stairs.
The most dramatic was when the director and I were the only ones upstairs and we were making our way towards the stairs. I was ahead of her and as I approached the stairs I felt a rush of an energy (I will say ghost) shoot towards me from the back and I quickly turned around to take a picture. As I did this second after the director Maria screamed and ran down the stairs. It seemed she was shoved and instead of it hitting me it went after her instead. This startled her so much she had to leave the house and we had to wrap up production even though I would have liked to spend the night. I would love to go back to this house and spend the night with a film crew and investigation team and see what we come up with. Very active place! The ghosts hear don’t want anyone around at nighttime. It is their home!

Red streak across film. This may be just a film imperfection during processing. Only reason I included this was because I saw red lights appear on a floor move around very quickly in a whirlpool type fashion and take off. Unfortunately not caught on film while cameraman was reloading batteries.

Keep in mind that I have listened to these over and over again, but sometimes when I hear them again they seem different from when I first listened to them. But what I can say is that the voices are not of the crew or myself and contain vocal vibrations of someone else present.

Jim Morrison Ghost Photo

SUMMARY:
I met with Brett Meisner a rock journalist and doors fan who had an alleged photo taken in Paris, France by non-other than Tom Petty at Jim Morrisons Grave. It seems to depict a pose of Jim Morrison in the background with his shirt off. Is it a trick of the light? Superimposed? Upon review of the photo and the original negative everything seemed to be legit. He seemed like an honest admirable guy that was just as startled by the pic as anyone would be. I found it interesting and have taken ghost pics myself as a kid and seeing many all over the world. It looked good to me and I thank Brett for taking the time to allow us to see it. Séance at Jim Morrison's Old Home
8216 Norton Avenue, Los Angeles
2/28/04
SUMMARY:
This place was the last known USA residence for Jim Morrison prior to his move to Paris. We held a communication circle here with Michael J. Kouri leading and Barry Taff overseeing the séance. Some of the participants were tenants of the building, and a couple "Doors" fans. While it seemed to be a short séance, there were a few interesting things that occurred.
CONTACT:
Did not sense Jim here but did feel an unhappy spirit and ironically a dog barked, when asked if Morrison’s Dog was under the table. While this sounds stupid and pretty, "yeah right", it was really bizarre how when Michael J. Kouri asked if it was Jims dog, a dog barked and than when he asked again later it barked again. No dog barked before or after the night we were there and we were there for 4-5 hours. Was it Jims dog? I can’t tell you that for sure but what I can say is it was very ironic.
I felt like I could have channeled, but Michael didn’t want me to and told me to not let it come through. It seems the spirit was named David. No idea why, but hopefully I helped him move onto the other side. I did sense a dark, almost black magic apparition in a dark cloak as if at one time black magic was performed in this apartment.
The coolest thing was the table began to slide across the floor as if it was a giant Ouija board. This table is made of solid oak and there is no way anyone could push it as it was also checked by Barry Taff and the crew as a solid heavy object.
The séance was not long and not as eventful as some of the others we have done but the dog, table moving, and ghost named David was interesting enough.

Valadon Hotel
2/28/04
SUMMARY:
While filming this part of the show we stayed at the Valadon Hotel in West Hollywood. After we filmed the séance for Jim Morrison I played the tape player in the car to see if I got any EVPs. While half way through the tape, I stopped it and put it in the bag. I threw my bag in the room, showered and went out for the night with some friends who lived in L.A.
It seemed that when I through the bag in the room the record button must have went on because it taped over the 2nd half of the séance. What I got was audio of hiding spirits in my room who seemed to follow me back to my hotel room and hang around while I was gone. I find this probably one of the oddest things I have heard, but have no other explanation for it. When I checked my bag the next day I noticed my tape player had been on and taped over the last half of the séance. I was upset that I lost the séance but was intrigued by what was recorded in my hotel room while I was gone.
CONTACT:
None that I know of- only EVPs. They seemed to suggest that the spirits were hiding from me while some were asking for help. A lot of good I did, I went out for the night and didn’t pick up on their plea. This was very eerie for me as we sometimes forget that ghosts aren’t just in haunted houses. They can be anywhere. I wish I would have known I might have been able to help them cross over.

Tarot Reading at Alta Cienga Hotel

SUMMARY:
Gail and I where part of a Tarot Card reading done by Carla Baron to try and contact Jim Morrison. I believe it was a success. The room was cold and damp and seemed to foster a form of energy not only left over by the fans, but enough to send a bolt of lightening to the other side along with a message for Jim Morrison to come through.
CONTACT:
As Carla went through the reading she came in contact with Mr. Morrison and asked him a few questions. What we learned was interesting. It seems that Jim is on the other side going through a healing phase. He wanted to be like a prophet when he was here last time but feels he failed to accomplish that. He wanted people to be spiritual and choose the right path but felt his attitude and involvement in heavy drugs and drinking pushed him off the path slightly. He was frustrated that people were not taking him seriously enough and instead of finding another way he fought back as a rebel and got mad at everyone instead thinking people were just going to accept his philosophy and follow him with seriousness. He realizes the mistakes he made and in is now going through a spiritual cleansing and healing to get ready for his next destiny. He is writing out his next life with his spiritual guides to be born as women in the Middle East and to rise during a time of hardship to lead the people to better and more spiritually fulfilling ways.
If this message is true and this is what he is preparing himself for than I wish him well and he is taking on a huge task. He is a hero for attempting this and I hope to see him succeed.
The other thing we learned about him was he said he had a book of poems/writings that no one has ever seen that a family member has in a box hidden away. Will we ever get to see these poems or writings?
During his presence with us he seemed a little shy but more cautious than anything else, as if he wanted to watch rather than be a participant. He was also very curious what we wanted with him and wasn’t sure what my role in this was. He recognized his relationship and my relationship with our fathers and as a connection point for us. I must say I did feel his presence and out of all the spirits I have met that were famous, his I have the most respect for spiritually. He is a high level spirit and has been around a long time. I hope to come in contact with him again.
I think Carla did a great job and came up with some interesting info not only on Jim Morrison but also on myself and Gail.

Spend Night at Alta Cienga Hotel

SUMMARY:
This was the last part of our shoot and I was sent to spend the night in Jim Morrison’s hotel/old apartment alone. It was a weird night and something’s did occur. The EVPs I got were amazing. I tried something new. I put a channel on the TV to a channel with no signal, just white noise. While it was very loud and annoying, upon play back I got a few incredible evps. I will try and test this more in the future.
CONTACT:
I do feel that there was residual left over from Jim Morrison and because of our contact with him earlier that day during the tarot reading I was assuming he would make his presence known. I did feel his presence as well as some spirits, maybe friends or fans that have moved on. The worst part is I was filming myself for about an hour calling out to him and felt something but later noticed I never had the camera recording. So I had to start all over again which at this time I was very tired. One EVP says I missed him and I wasn’t recording at the time.
I had a few weird dreams and at one point in the night I woke up started filming and asked Jim to give me sign. It was said it would be possibly a form of a bell from our Tarot reading, if I remember correctly. After I asked this question lying in bed with the worst bed head seen on TV (this never aired but is on the DVD outtakes) a fire alarm went off in the complex and I raced to the door and as I opened it, it went off and I waited and kept checking noticing that no one ever came out of there rooms or nobody walked around in the parking lot. Was I the only one that heard this? You can hear if very faintly on the DVD outtake. I felt a rush of creativity after this night as if I could channel Jim Morrison if I wanted to and maybe be inspired to write a song or two.
